Coaching at the SMCA Centers

At SMCA, we nurture future chess champions by providing every child with an opportunity to excel. Our training programs combine tactical lessons with the importance of practice, discipline, and resilience. Tailored to each child’s skill level and exposure, our coaching ensures a balanced blend of learning and play. Our classes offer weekday or weekend options, with 30–35 minutes of lecture time followed by 30–35 minutes of playtime and class worksheets.

Online Chess Coaching

Our professional online coaching offers structured lessons, game analysis, and study materials, helping students from over 100 countries achieve tournament success. Through interactive sessions with shared boards and real-time feedback, coaches guide players in openings, tactics, strategy, and endgames. Games are analyzed post-tournament with actionable insights for improvement. Regular feedback and reports keep students progressing toward their chess goals.

High Performance Chess Program (HPCP)

Our High Performance Chess Program offers elite training modeled after Grandmaster methods. Over the past 22 years, HPCP has produced masters, FIDE champions, and winners against top players. This one-year program covers strategy, tactics, calculation, planning, and analysis, with structured lessons, personalized feedback, and exclusive materials. Our expert coaches guide you through every step, ensuring you master the game and apply your skills with confidence.
