[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The 11th Edition of the SMCA Chess WORT was held on 19th November 2020 on Lichess.org platform.
It had a total of 43 students of our Regular Group Classes who joined in from all parts of India to play the tournament. It has been an amazing platform for our students to showcase their chess prowess by competing with their peers & knowing where they stand amongst themselves.
“My experience is SMCA is fantastic. I have improved a lot in chess with the help of my coach Hariprasad Sir and I would like to thank him for all the effort he had put on us. The online rapid tournaments are quite nice and it motivates me to face new challenges. When I came 3rd, I was delighted” says 3rd Placed Anvi Poddar from Delhi Public School, Pune (Megacity)
Even our students’ Parents love the experience that our tournament and coaching experts give to their children. “SMCA has helped Divij sharpen his Chess Skill, calculations and confidence. It has also helped in teaching the various openings, traps.” says 2nd placed Divij’s Mom, Mrs Meeta Jain.
