Our students love these tournaments as well as their parents. Vaibhav’s parents said, “Vaibhav likes playing rapid tournaments, he likes blitz too. As parents, we prefer rapid tournaments, as he gets time to think and play. We would suggest having rapid tournaments only, as in real chess there is plenty of time to play and it won’t be like a video game in real life chess. Vaibhav feels very happy to win the tournament. He wants to continuously improve and win.”

Students also feel very enthusiastic during the tournaments. Vallari said, “I enjoyed the tournament and it was overall a good experience for me as always. My experience with SMCA has been great and my mentors are helpful and motivating me always. I feel happy and excited and will continue to participate in such exciting tournaments.”

Little Anushka’s parents said, “ It’s a great platform for students to practise what has been learnt in the classes. A very small win but that is what motivates a 8 year old! Chess was initially “just” a game for Anushka. SMCA has developed it into a passion for her. She has been playing and trying for the last almost 4 months and finally she got what she was aiming for. She was ecstatic after the win.”

These are what motivate us to do the best we can and keep improving our services so that we can make our students future ready.
