The world is in the chessboard today. Demographics of the chess world prove that there are millions or even billions of chess players all around the world. A very large proportion of our Indian population can play chess.

Chess is still called the game of kings and it is true to that statement since the time of kings. Chess was definitely relished by kings. It was designed to increase the tactical capabilities of the rulers and increase IQ, which was important in the actual battlefields.
